Beach Bum

In just a few days, I am off to Southern Florida for a long vacation in which I will become "one with the ocean." Okay, so that might be taking it a bit far...however, there is something so enchanting, inspiring, and blissful to me as soon as I step foot on a beach. The sight and sound of the ocean immediately brings me to a state in which I feel completely centered. I anticipate any vacation, but this one I am particularly looking forward to- so I can think...reflect...recharge. Sometimes it just takes getting away for a while to do so.

While I am zen-ing away in Florida I will of course be taking endless pictures to share when I return...and will hopefully come back with some sense of direction in my life...just perhaps?! Still waiting for the universe to shift me in the direction I need to be heading... ;) Below are some pictures I felt beach-insprired by as well as a look into my beach tote! Happy Tuesday!

Weekend WEARwhere

This past weekend was one of those jam-packed in a good way kinda weekends. Gorgeous weather was followed by great dinners and an awesome event in our neighborhood. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday weekend.... and am looking forward to one more night celebrating this weekend with friends ;) Lots to celebrate from May on through the summer- birthdays, babies, and weddings galore! I love each and every excuse to get together with friends so this kind of busy is simply wonderful. Happy Tuesday!

ANALYZE this.

First AND foremost, how tricky of me to leave you all in suspense of the news I have to share?! I am seriously excited about a new (additional) blog gig that will begin (wait for it) this week. Each Tuesday I will be writing a fashion/style post for one of my FAVORITE blogs: the OVERANALYST. For those who did not view this past season of the Bachelor (are you living in a hole?!), let me introduce you to the lovely Jenna Burke. While she unfortunately did not remain on the show for more than a few episodes, she made a pretty big impact on viewers in the time that she was televised. She's ADORABLE, trendy, and has a killer personality, so why would they not feature her?! .... oh, and the editing they did to portray her as the "dramatic" gal that she is not, helped too I suppose..... After talking with her lately, I can assure you, she is chill as can be.... bravo editing, Bachelor. Moving on, she created the crazy-cool blog the Over-Analyst which will now be covering every element of life that you would care to read about on a blog: fashion, beauty, relationships, celebrity "gossip"....all bundled into ONE PHENOMENAL SITE. Jenna's Midwest roots (Nati' love) combined with her current big-city lifestyle (NYC) .... and her most recent public-status, makes for a very cool perspetive.... and her idea to gather contributers to add to her blog was pure genius. Look for my posts every Tuesday and be sure to add the Over-Analyst to your daily reads.
